About Biorez
Biorez is an international Health/MedTech organisation located within the business precinct of Yale University New Haven, USA. Biorez developed the BioBrace, which is a reinforced bioinductive implant. Unlike traditional implant materials that are synthetic or biologic, BioBrace is a biocomposite of both. Since January 2017, Biorez went on to receive 510K clearance of its Bio Brace technology following pre clinicals trials conducted at the University of NSW.
Collaboration
Mark Bouw Group established Biorez’s Australian entity and provided ongoing local management support. Mark Bouw Group’s work included local leadership of Biorez Pty Ltd, management of the accounting, bookkeeping and compliance functions, local management of the R&D program and, liaison with Conmed throughout the due diligence process. In August 2022, Biorez was acquired by Conmed (NYSE-CNMD) in August 2022 for USD$85M with BioBrace fast becoming the product of choice for inclusion for ACL, PCL and Rotator Cuff repair. Biorez continues to be a loyal customer of Mark Bouw Group as we continue to grow the organisation and its further medical developments.
